Lisa J. Oeltgen is an attorney practicing primarily family and probate law, and is the managing partner at Oeltgen & D’Ambruoso, PLLC. Lisa received her B.A. degrees from the University of Kentucky, and her J.D. degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in Northern Kentucky. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association, the Fayette County and Madison County Bar Associations. In addition, Lisa has an extensive background in property law and worked in this field until making the complete transition to family law in 2004, where she has found that her knowledge in property analysis serves to complement her work as a family law attorney.
Lisa’s practice includes both uncontested and complex dissolution actions, adoptions, custody, child support, grandparent rights, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, family mediation, wills, trusts, and appeals. Lisa has been recognized by the Fayette County Bar Association for her commitment to pro bono work, and has been an instructor for the National Business Institute at several continuing legal education seminars.

Born and raised in Montana, Ann D’Ambruoso received her B.A. from Transylvania University and was inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta history honor society. After graduating from Transy with honors in 2001, Ann worked as a field archaeologist before entering law school at the University of Kentucky, where she received the CALI award for her writing in Comparative Law.
Ann graduated from the UK College of Law in 2007, and served as a law clerk for the Family Court in the Fourteenth Circuit. Ann was in private practice before becoming a member of Oeltgen & D’Ambruoso, PLLC in 2011. Her current practice focuses on divorce, grandparents’ rights, adoption, custody, and child support issues, as well as appellate work in those fields. Ann has been recognized for her extensive pro bono efforts, and is a member of the Grandparents as Parents (GAP) annual conference planning committee, American Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, and Fayette County Bar Association.
Rachel Yavelak, Esq.

Rachel Yavelak is an attorney who focuses her practice in the areas of criminal, family and probate law. She became a partner at Oeltgen & D’Ambruoso, PLLC in August of 2014. Rachel obtained her B.A. and graduated summa cum laude with honors from Georgetown College. She earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law where she was a member of Moot Court, and the technical editor for the Journal of Natural Resources and Environmental Law.
Rachel is a member of the Fayette County Bar Association and the Kentucky Bar Association, and she is licensed in U.S. Federal Courts for the Eastern District of Kentucky, for the Southern District of West Virginia, and for the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is also licensed in state courts in Kentucky and West Virginia.
Rachel has over 12 years of experience in criminal, family and probate law. Her practice involves handling federal and state felonies and misdemeanors including drug and gun cases as well as assault, theft, fraud, and other complex criminal matters. Her practice also includes both contested and uncontested divorce and custody cases, adoptions, child support matters, domestic violence issues, wills, estate matters and appeals.

Jamie Kristen Stewart joined Oeltgen & D’Ambruoso as an associate in March of 2014. A native of Southeastern Kentucky, Jamie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies and graduated with honors from Georgetown College in 2004. Jamie worked as a legal assistant for the law firm of Lynn, Fulkerson, Nichols, and Kinkel prior to entering Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2007. While at Chase, she served as the vice president of the Student Bar Association, secretary of the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy, chairperson of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and as an instructor for the Street Law Program. Jamie received her Juris Doctor in May 2010, with pro bono distinction, and was admitted to practice law in Kentucky that same year. She served as staff attorney for the Family Court in the Fourteenth Circuit from 2011 until 2014.
Jamie will concentrate her practice primarily on divorce, custody, child support, grandparents’ rights and adoptions. As the newest member of Oeltgen & D’Ambruoso, Jamie is looking forward to practicing in the area of domestic relations and advocating for families throughout Kentucky.

Allison Dailey graduated cum laude from Eastern Kentucky University in 2006, where she received her B.A. in Paralegal Science and was inducted into the Lambda Epsilon Chi paralegal honor society. She has been employed as a paralegal since 2004 and employed in the area of family law since 2005. She previously worked as a paralegal in the area of workers’ compensation law. Allison grew up in Fayette County and now resides with her husband and daughter in Scott County. Allison is a member of the Greater Lexington Paralegal Association and frequently volunteers with the Fayette County Pro Bono Program’s Pro Se Clinics.

Amanda Cheek is a former Deputy Clerk for the Fayette Circuit Court. For the past six years, she has been employed as a paralegal, and she has worked primarily in the areas of federal and state criminal law as well as in family and probate law. Amanda is very dedicated to the clients that she assists in helping. Her experience gives her a unique perspective regarding the difficulties and the turmoil that clients face in dealing with issues that effect their family and/or their freedom.
Amanda grew up in Fayette County, Kentucky, and she presently resides in Jessamine County with her children.
